![]() I'm in the market for a new computer after my seven-year-old MacBook bit the dust recently. Earlier today, I went to Best Buy to experiment with their Samsung Chromebook (the cheaper one), since it's super affordable, and I'm planning to use the computer mostly for word processing and going on the web. Everything looked great, except that I know I'll need to compose papers with portions in Greek and Hebrew for my graduate program, and I was totally at a loss for how to do that on Google Docs. I also stumbled onto that forum discussion (as well as two or three others) when I was trying to find a workaround. It seemed like their issue was needing to _preserve_ formatting when uploading to Google Docs; my hope is to _produce_ this formatting while in Google Docs. I'm not married to the idea of using TekniaGreek, although that would be wonderfully convenient. Cardo is a font I've seen mentioned several times in my digging, and it looks like it has Greek compatibility.
